allusion有暗指,間接得到和典故,引文兩種意思,在文學(xué)中應(yīng)為典故的意思,是一種修辭手法。
如:Some figures of speech, such as pun, metaphor, irony, synaesthesia, allusion and euphemism are the examples of positive ambiguity。

英語(yǔ)標(biāo)題的文法規(guī)則
1. 關(guān)于字母大寫的規(guī)則。
1.1 完整句子的第一個(gè)單詞的第一個(gè)字母大寫。
例如:He plays football.
1.2 專用名詞的第一個(gè)字母大寫。
例如:Let's call Jane.
1.3 標(biāo)題中的字母大寫。
標(biāo)題中第一個(gè)單詞到最后一個(gè)單詞的首字母總是大寫;動(dòng)詞,名詞,代詞,形容詞和副詞的首字母大寫,除此之外的其它所有字母都不能大寫(即,前置詞,冠詞,連接詞等小寫,但如果其位于句首,仍然應(yīng)當(dāng)大寫,例如:And Then Came Love | The Last of the Summer Wine| In the Name of the Father),例如,a, an, the, and, or, but, in, on, of, to,等小寫。
1.4 標(biāo)題中的字母全部大寫。
例如——
(1) INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE
(2) THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS
(3) BANK HOLIDAYS AND NATIONAL HOLIDAYS
通常標(biāo)為粗體且有下劃線,但不管使用何種風(fēng)格,整體必須一致。另外,在標(biāo)題中使用’號(hào)(撇號(hào))來(lái)表示復(fù)數(shù)也可以接受,但注意,這樣做可能會(huì)令部分讀者厭煩。

1.5 遵循官方版本的寫法,打破了所有大小寫規(guī)則。
注意,并非所有的人都會(huì)遵行大小寫的約定,如果你知道某標(biāo)題是出自某個(gè)官方版本,那么就該原樣復(fù)制它。例如:
(1) The Light Between Oceans (2016 年古裝電影)
(2) A River Runs Through It (1976 年半自傳體小說(shuō))

復(fù)合形容詞通常用‘-’線連接起來(lái)(例如free-range eggs)以更清楚地表明它們整體組成一個(gè)復(fù)合形容詞,由于這種分組的作為用標(biāo)題大小寫就能區(qū)分,因此,沒(méi)必要在已經(jīng)是標(biāo)題的句子中使用連字符。
