　　一般過去時也譯為單純過去時，是初一下學(xué)期的一個重要教學(xué)資料。在學(xué)過了一般此刻時和此刻進行時后，很多同學(xué)會把這三種時態(tài)弄混。現(xiàn)從一般過去時的句型、用法總結(jié)如下：

　　一、基本句型：

　　例A：He worked very hard last year。

　　(去年他很用功。)

　　例B：Mr。 Smith bought a new car yesterday。

　　(史密斯先生昨日買了一輛新車。)

　　二、基本用法：

　　一般過去時最明顯的現(xiàn)象就是常由表達過去之時光的副詞或副詞短語來修飾它(如各例句的斜體字部分)。這些常用于修飾一般過去時的副詞有：

　　yesterday，yesterday morning (afternoon，evening )，just now (剛才)，before (以前)，then (at that time )(當(dāng)時)，last +時光 (如 last week，month，year，Monday，… January，… spring，)，that +時光 (如 that day，afternoon，summer，…，etc。 )，時光 + ago (如 a few minutes ago，two weeks ago ，years ago，… etc。)

　　需要注意的是：“過去”的概念并不是只指如 “yesterday，last week，… ” 等，實際上“與此刻對立的過去”，亦即“非此刻的以前”，哪怕是“過了說話時光的幾分鐘之前”，只要所要表達的時光與說話時的“此刻”構(gòu)成對立，就務(wù)必使用一般過去時來表達。例如：

　　I came home just now。

　　(我剛回到家。)

　　He was here only a few minutes ago。

　　(僅僅幾分鐘前他還在那里。)

　　三、一般過去時口訣

　　一般過去時并不難，表示過去動作、狀態(tài)記心間。

　　動詞要用過去式，時光狀語句末站。

　　否定句很簡單，didn't 站在動詞原形前，其它部分不要變。

　　一般疑問句也好變，did放在句子前，主語、動詞原形、其它部分依次站。

　　特殊疑問句也簡單，疑問詞加一般疑問句記心間。

　　最后一條請注意，動詞過去式要牢記。
